On last episode, we discussed 2 common stress induced and often mis diagnosed issues: Leaky gut and Adrenal fatigue. We primarily discussed Adrenal Fatigue on the last episode, so this week, we sat down with Dr. Heather Peterman again to discuss "Leaky Gut" syndrome and what the signs and symptoms show.
In this week's episode, we chat about the importance of self care and becoming more grounded. Now, more than ever, it is important that we all find our own ways to come back down from the constant stress that surrounds us. You need to find what works for you; meditation, music, hobbies, hikes or being in nature. These are all important ways to get proper self care and bring yourself back down from the daily stress that we are surrounded with.
Since we've opened, Murph on Memorial Day has been our staple. We've enjoyed getting our entire gym together to perform this workout. We've seen up to 85 people at one time working out together to perform it. The scene of many athletes running and hanging from the rig has been amazing, and always sent chills down our spine. But due to the pandemic and people not workout out to the same level as normal, we have decided to postpone Murph this year. This is an effort to reduce injury and rhabdo.
