Our member of the month honors go to one of our favorite gym couples; Jane and Doug Lee!
Jane and Doug have been HPCF Members for about 8-months. Doug is an avid runner and bike rider which has been his primary fitness regime for many years.
Jane, got on weight watchers and lost over 100lbs following their guidelines.
Both Jane and Doug have younger daughters who do CrossFit in other states and they recommended that they too get into the fun! Plus, they wanted to add on some muscle and strength!
Jane and Doug joined up and saw some immediate results. Plus, the added benefit of some friendly competition along with something to chat with their children about made things much more interesting.
They both have been very consistent and we love seeing them improve every class, every day and doing it with a smile on their faces!
Jane and Doug will be joining us on the Anchored Podcast, November 11th so keep your eyes open for their interview.

Why did you start?: There were a few reasons I started CrossFit. I wanted to get stronger, I have a tendency to put on a few pounds during the winter , so going to the gym with these workouts will help in both areas.
Why do you keep coming back?:The coaches, workouts that push me beyond what I usually would do(that’s pretty much all of them), the friends I’ve made there and my picture of me before I lost 117 lbs.
How long have you been a member of Peak Performance Fitness Facility?:Since mid January this year
How did you find CrossFit?: Both of our daughters do crossfit so they shared it with us
How has CrossFit changed your Life?: It has made me stronger and given me confidence to try things I normally wouldn’t
What is your biggest achievement so far, and what is your next big goal? There have been many achievements. I can do multiple burpees without having to step out and even though I’m still doing knee push ups, I can do them for a longer period of time at a little bit faster pace.
What is your favorite thing about Peak Performance Fitness Facility?: The coaches, the other members and the community that they have given both Doug and I.
Have any advice for new members?: Just keep coming and do the best you can, even on the days you don’t want to.
